The inner ring

Today, at 3.20pm local time, we entered the arctic circle in blazing sunshine yet with patches of snow around us. So we had an ice cream and laid about on rocks looking enigmatic to passers by.
After dropping back down to sea level we've found a great spot to stop near Krakmow. We're right by a fjord so had a little fish and I caught the smallest cod one could bother eating. We shared it pan seared with a little pesto.
We managed 400 miles today. Highest temperature 85f and lowest 51f which was in the middle of a 5 mile tunnel through a mountain.
The roads have been fantastic today, mighty swoopy for the corner lovers here.
Last thing. We got to our first stop for petrol after 50 miles this morning for Frank to find his tea mug had been balanced on the back of his seat all the way since breakfast. He's now stating that he's the smoothest of riders.
Tomorrow we'll get to Langfjord. It's about 360miles to go so I think we can be expected about 5 to 6.

  1. But was it full?
I want to see Frank drive up our dirt track tomorrow, dismount and drink tea in a nonchalant manner.

  2. Do we get photos? Say hello to Frank from Andy and Gretel - tell him he's missing my first cricket tea and I'm baking three cakes for it!
